Happy New Year 2011 to all... I have not been updating due to so many things happening in my life.You can check it out from my facebook.

Anyway, y'day weather was crazy..40C and its still 38C at 6pm ...on the eve of 2010!

Good thing, it drops drastically in a couple of hours. Today 1/1/2011 is such a relief.. great and cool weather... intermittent rain and some sun is out. I just had a relaxing day and kinda lazy to do my thesis. Perhaps I should do some later.

It is sunny in the morning and I even did my laundry at 11am. It happened when I was doing my grocers at Vic Mart abt 12-ish. The cloud seems getting darker and I was trying my best to get back home as fast as I could. (reason for not bringing any jumper or any umbrella).

Reached home at quarter to 3pm, things dont seem look right. Managed to salvage some of my clothes. And, there goes rain pouring. There, "tap tap tap" sound on the roof and I have no f* idea what is happening.

I only realized it is icy size of chickpeas dropping together with the rain! Indeed it was a hailstorm. Thank God I am at home...

The above picture is taken courtesy of one of my friends which stay in the city. It is located off Bourke and Elizabeth St.

Now, the rain stop and seems fine again...Melbourne weather is indeed unpredictable!

One of the finest and best in Melbourne...night becomes alive in Hardware lane...

One of my friends came back from Sg to Melbourne for his girlfriend convocation. We plan to meet up with him as his birthday is the next day. Went to the vialetto at the corner of Hardware La. The fine dining was awesome..

I ordered a lamb shank and the meat is tender and soft. Just simply the best...but it comes at a price-- $35. It is kind of reasonable because we share and treated him as well.

All in all, service was good and awesome!

Yesterday woke up a lil late and the weather is so crappy.

Gale, strong wind and followed by wind...I have to think thrice to go out to get some necessities. I dint get to go to city and just went to Footscray (further) since I want to get more long johns for this creepy weather ahead...

And the rest of the day at home and watching "Imagine That". Its a nice story overall.

Today was crazy! It has since rain from 9-30am and on and on and on. Worst, the gale and the wind is so strong ...phew..

I am only able to get out from my house for grocery at 1pm! I was wet basically when I got back from groceries.

As a result, all things just postponed ...However, its not bad idea to do some cooking at home.

Today I tried to cook Beef Meatballs :)

It is weekend again...I went to Footscray this afternoon for lunch at one of the Vietnamese food. Its awesome and cost me $8 for the meal (shown below).

At night, I try to make some "pouk -ball" using breadcrumb with minced pork. I added some vegetables as part of it.

p/s:Anyway I couldnt be bothered to upload the pictures for the last week carnival this time around..too many photos and with the pathetic line here, it will be a pain for me.

As usual, weekend is about grocery, cooking for the week and some kind of chill out.

I went to the Asian grocery opp. Vic Mart to get some dried shrimp and came across this. Grain Noodle..seems good and healthy..

I decided to cook dried noodle for the noon. Bought some mix meatballs from the seafood shop in Vic Mart.

Come dinner, originally planned to have the Masak Merah chicken for the night..but was too lazy to cook earlier on. And decided to cook Pork Schnitzel. I bought few pieces from the mart as well.

So I mix with two eggs ...

and dip them to the breadcrumb from Aldi....

and adding some leftovers bean from the fridge...

Another last shot is an extra which I happen to buy at the market this weekend. Its a type of pear and cute ones!

While I was on the way back from Vic Market, it was so heavy...

3L of milk+ fish+ vegie +etc...

Who knows the tram is broken once the driver tried to start the engine. Apparently, the tram is on the bottom of the hill.

What an eventful one..first time in 18months here..

In the end, we have to board down and take the next tram... by the time when we were aboard the next tram, the old tram is moving..

I guess its taking too heavy "passengers"!

I wonder sometimes life looks simple but it has to go through a series of ups and downs in btw. Like a child having a happy day to the beach, coming back then, she cried as she injured her leg.

And this led to continuous bad day..having a bad temper, not having sleep or lunch..

But in the process, she learn the pain and move on..and move on..isnt it life?

Just a random thought..still couldnt figure out weird results for the model code..1015 is coming in few hours time.

I am back again to Melbourne after short-3-weeks-stint of celebrating CNY in Msia. I could say, I am still home sick and enjoy the moments (quality time) spent with my family.

Well, life still has to go on. I pray that my Uncle who is in heaven, is seated on the throne with Jesus. Kind of shock because I was the last to know about his decease.

What has life to offer?Still pondering...i guess the most important, is to live life to the fullest..Am I now? Should we?

Its one week ...last week I was about to fly in KL...one week phuff...flies. Today having stomache ache...not able to sleep last nite ..partially worrying bout my stuffs too.

But today, another experience...cooking porridge using rice cooker. The results was unexpected awesome nice ;)

At least, I could say, I am learning to walk side by side Him in life..life in general.

Year 2008 is coming..2007 is going to gone :(

I have been reflecting them when I was in tram back from church. And think of it, it is awesome.

Some of the achievement for the year:-

i) Experience new life abundantly
-Think of how drastic my plan goes ...from SG to MELB. I just couldnt believe what has happened so far. Place is great, people is great..just need to "add oil" since lifestyle has changes totally.

ii) Cooking skills
-Needless to say, I cant afford to get food from outside everyday as the price is not as "cheap" as in Singapore. I have to cook finally; but looking at another angle, I managed to learn cooking various dishes! I bet I cant do at all if I werent in MELB.

iii) Networking
-Able to get to network with people from various countries; and best of all, to know and understand their culture. For example; the likings, the perspective from their point; politics; food; place..etc.

iv) Explore on places
- For this, I have to admit I cut down alot on this activity as it is totally different lifestyle. Last time when I was working in SG, I can easily spend my entire weekend starting from Friday night, Sat, Sun to various places around. But I guess now , its different. Perhaps, MELB is kind of big area to explore and having a car would be really a good idea :D

Things have yet to accomplished and on progress
i) Studies
-Still need alot "oil" to add though...I guess I have returned alot of things back to lecturers back in MMU. Got to revise, learn new things, and also understand. And yet to come, ideas and improvements.

Some deep thoughts so far:-

A) Produce papers for conference

B) write thesis!

But still praying about to achieve it asap.

ii) Weight gain
Ever since I came here, been putting alot weight... guess that I become more and more "wai sek". Need to control and walk more!Way to go!

Well, I guess that is I could think of. Will edit once I have more...

Another cook.

Fried taugeh-ku chai

Ku chai is somethig like alfalfa or green "zhang" where my landlady passed me a bunch to cook with the taugeh. It is nice when it cook in together.

Initially, I fried some anchovies and basically, I put in oil, garlic, then minced pork(seasoned with flour and pepper).
Then, I put along the fried tau foo, tomato. Then I put along the "ku chai" and taugeh.

It tastes great...and to my surprise since today is a Christmas day, they passed me some Turkey meat.First time trying it out and the meat texture is totally different from chicken.

Yum yum!

And I think I dont have camera to take them up as it taste so great; before I can think of, I have finished them.

Will post more photos on some places I trailed with Marco, Andreas and Pramodh for today.

It was a meteor shower tonight..

Chockro told me when I met him up just now at night for late dinner after the combined Urban Life meeting. It was short because I came quite late..but the worship was awesome!

Back to the coversation, he told me it was 11pm ...but i somehow forgot! I only knew it at 1145pm!

Hmmmph....according to the web, it still can be seen till 3.45am (which is the peak!). I guess I cant stay awake to watch it..kinda tired. whole night cant sleep yesterday..

Day Light Savings is going to start on tonight midnight 2am! It is defined by:-

Daylight Saving Time gives us the opportunity to enjoy sunny summer evenings by moving our clocks an hour forward in the spring.

And its most memorable time for me too...I will be HOME ALONE for the next 3 WEEKS!....Pheww...super boring..all by myself after I come back from UNI everyday.

I think I need to re adjust the time of my sleep to much earlier :(

So far, there is nt much update as I am quite busy with my studies and depressing minds.

Hmmm....just a rambling post.

YEAH..true enough I am one year older...hmm..time flies and I can feel the grip and maturity level is much more expected of me. But God's love is always so abundant!

Today is suppose to be the Total Lunar Eclipse and over here, according to

in Melbourne, we could see the full effect from 20.37pm onwards..So I wonder is that true..

My "auntie" and I went down the flat and observe the so called moon or they call it as Blood Red Moon. How weird the name comes..hehe. But the moon is really looks like a YELLOW DHL BALLOON found in Singapore (haha).

Too bad my camera could not capture it as it is too small for my camera. If I can observe from the Uni, it would be larger. Because when I am on my way back just now at 7pm, I can see the full moon is very large and could be easily captured by any digital camera.

Today, I finally cooked my first soup of the day ...so nice especially at night time where its so cold!

Unfortunately, I didnt take any photos for that due to my landlady is with me while I am cooking. Haha...anyway, will do the next time I am cooking (when theyre not around).

I put the pork bone and let it simmer for one hour plus before put various ingredients. These ingredients is so abundant..brocolli, carrot, pak choy, chicken wing...etc. So sweet and nice..Hehe.

Did you ever think of protest in public in Malaysia? Or any streets in Singapore?

Impossible is the answer!

But nothing is impossible over here in Melbourne. Road protest is very common and it has even special escort from the Police! Imagine that....

The protest can varies from Anti Govt, Anti this anti that...the list goes on and on...

This reminds me on today when I just went out to the City to catch a tram to Smith St.

As I am walking to Brouke St figuring out the tram 86 to Smith St, I saw a roar of protest on something on Murray Basin and Brumby's thingy...i wasnt sure the full details...haha.
Need to check it out at theage.com i guess.

Well, as the protest crowd is over, i assume that the tram will reach ...but unfortunately, the tram alert that it has switch another route...which is at La trobe St. Oh my Gosh! I just came down from there to Brouke St and awaiting for the protest to over..And now , what?

I have to walk back to La Trobe St and catch the tram. However upon reaching there. I was confused on the direction of the tram heading to Smith St. I tried to cross to another side of the road perpendicularly and was overjoyed that the tram 86 is right there...but only to know its suppose the returning path ones.

So , I need to cross back to the other lane of the tram perpendicularly...well, dont ask me why its perpendicularly and not just across the road..very weird road system here due to the tram !!

Well, I managed to get to Smith St. to get to one of the pharmacy shop to get my Logic programming book from one of Pr Ngoh's friend's son in law. Haha...thats the nearest path I can get the book other than at Glen Waverly!

Well, I am kind of happy because I managed to get there without any much trouble and back again :D(Self applause to myself :P)

And another note, sad news is due to changes that I made on the air flight ticket from this coming Dec to next Jan for CNY, I have to be paying AUD 85!! Super expensive...AUD 60 (one flat charge) + AUD 25 (service charge).

I was kinda reluctant initially and thinking to go back and perhaps do the changes through telephone yet...I am thinking why not since I have already reached there.

Hmm..still evaluating am i so stupid?

"De teng liao ah"

This is the "phrase" commonly heard (if any of you are Hokkien):P

This is the typical phrase I used currently whenever I am back home from Uni. My landlady which is almost the similar age to my then-grandmother.

When I just stepped in to the house, she will start by asking "De teng liao ah" (means "Have you come back already?") I usually just nodded and agreed ironically. Very weird.

The irony of this phrase when I think back is physcially I am back home and the question have you come back already isnt is a redundant? Hmm...all I can say for my side is just one of the Chinese gestures we used to ...What do you think anyway?? :D

Another new horizon to come

New horizon is to come...I wil be flying off to Melbourne tonight at 1030pm from Changi Airport.
I am in the midst of blogging from Toshiba laptop at home.

I have been quite down these few days depressed of
i) Gonna be alone in the new land(without parents)
ii) Gonna face tough challenges in research
iii)Dont know whether is it a passion for me
iv) Dont know what future will be

I even asked God why He showed me the path..Really want to trust in Him and His purposes for me.

I guess I will log off now. Will keep in touch with great photos at Melbourne.

Another horizon

It is already 3AM on Thursday 5th July 2007..on my bed at Lor 1 Toa Payoh Blk 577.

It was my second last night in Singapore before officially leaving Singapore and the job for my further studies in Melbourne, Australia.

I wasnt too sure whats His plan is but I knew He has a good plan and will for me as long as I hold on to His word. Some might ask...why did you want to resign from good pay...and so on and so forth. Perhaps I am in my comfort zone and never want to try new things when opporunity comes.

It is a good opportunity and His grace is shown to me times and times that I even quesitoned whether its from Him...But I really feel its time for me to improve myslef and move on for the good of me in the field for the next 5-10 years at least!

I would be going to MOM tomorow morning to cancel Spass. I still recalled hows the first day reaching Singapore for finding room for my accomodation. He has indeed blssed me even I am so worried about how the room and environment. Down the road 6 mth, I feel so comfortable and reluctantly make a decision to leave the new place again to newer place

Night...I really want to believe in His will and purposes for me!For HIs glory and Body of Christ because He lives in me!

I wont walk alone now and forever....Amen!

A Journey to the Wilderness

I have been in Singapore for quite some time....Been busy at work and busy travelling-exploring(which I like most!)

Work has taken much of my time lately and sometimes I just could not stand with the amount of stress and responsibilities placed on me. Nevertheless, I still survived through Him :)

I have recently walked to Esplanade, to Marina Square, to National Museum, to Singapore Philatelic Museum....These places are fantastic. Only pictures could tell.... even though I took effort to explore this places during the weekend and should be resting, however, I just feel enjoyed seeing sceneries. Besides, I experienced how "closeness" and small the island is...one stop to another stop is just few minutes walk.

Singapore....Episode 1

Singapore I have come...It has been almost 2 weeks ever since come to Singapore....

Im enjoying a pleasant stay and great hospitality...Not to mention further, my colleagues and supervisor are superb! At the same time, I learned to see things at different perspective; "Start Small, Dream Big"

Have learned alot of telecommunication stuffs ever since on 1st Day...been loaded with training and sharing and forums :) A different environment and culture for me too moving down to Singapore from Penang....Food wise is cheaper, places is well maintained and best of all; free internet access almost anywhere publicly :D

The MRT is superb...I wish Penang will have one like Singapore;then the Coastal Highway would not be so $%#$ jammed every morning.Hehe.

No pictures as of now....most of it can be found in Friendster :D
I will try to upload as much as possible especially with Christmas season coming...

The main reason is due to lack of time over here to load one picture after another..esp in blogspot. And also time to online and shaking leg surfing....here is all about work!

Okay then...its 9pm...I guess I need to log off...Best of all here the drama series is superb! Great movie and "transparent"- in the sense of no cover up...dont think the other way round okay :)

Got to go..till then I will keep on update my blog or my walk with Him in S'pore!

Singapore...

Here I am at my company iWOW... it has been a busy first day for me at work....

Have to attend an in house training on the first few hours of my work.
And further lectures and lectures from my supervisor after lunch.

It is a good start I suppose...but my pc went down even try and trying.
Hmm....even now also I came to office during the weekend.And also, still have connection problem.

For my accomodation, everything is okay..the landlord is okay, the environment is okay.

Okay...got to go back...im all alone in the office..More updates and pictures in next post.

Well, now just feel excited just after came back from Test Conference Final wrap up...Its so late now and its past midnite...We were crazy and managed somehow to make it happen!! And tmr, its a whole big day event....wooohoo..proud to be the Committee!!

Durian at Balik PULOU!!

Hello all,

After a long long break from the blog, here is some update though its a lil bit...:D

Last weekend, I went to Balik Pulau with colleagues(ShzShz is the "tau U", IngChin, Lemon, Mag and Foo). We went in the afternoon for the ever famous laksa...It is definitely not to be missed at one of the hardest look around area. This is due to its a house lot and its further inside...no one could imagine there is a shop there...:D

After that, we went for non other than the Durian...feast!!ShzShz brought us to her aunt's farm and we savor the nice durians even it comes to the end of season. I am enjoying to the fullest and am more than satisfy ...we are not only treated with durians...the King of Fruits but also other fruits such as...mangosteen, dodol, rambutan ....one word to describe all, SUPERB!

The mangoesteen is so juicy and irressistible whilst the rambutan taste sweet and nice with freshly plucked on the spot..What'd you think eh?

Something funny to share...

This story is somewhat similar to what I have heard over one month ago in church..but it relates to a guy pastor. Well..enjoy the story..

To all the women who have ever used public facilities

When you have to visit a public bathroom, you usually find a lineof women, so you smile politely and take your place. Once it's your turn, you check for feet under the stall doors. Every stall is occupied.

Finally, a door opens and you dash in, nearly knocking down the womanleaving the stall. You get in to find the door won't latch. It doesn'tmatter.

The dispenser for the modern "seat covers" (invented by someone'sMom, no doubt) is handy, but empty. You would hang your purse on thedoor hook, if there were one, but there isn't - so you carefully butquickly drape it around your neck, (Mom would turn over in her grave ifyou put it on the FLOOR!), yank down your pants, and assume "TheStance."

In this position your aging, toneless thigh muscles begin toshake. You'd love to sit down, but you certainly hadn't taken time to wipe theseat or lay toilet paper on it, so you hold "The Stance."To take your mind off your trembling thighs, you reach for whatyou discover to be the empty toilet paper dispenser.

In your mind, youcan hear your mother's voice saying, "Honey, if you had tried to cleanthe seat, you would have KNOWN there was no toilet paper!" Your thighsshake more.You remember the tiny tissue that you blew your nose on yesterday- the one that's still in your purse. That would have to do. You crumple it in the puffiest way possible. It is still smaller than yourthumbnail.Someone pushes open your stall door because the latch doesn'twork.

The door hits your purse, which is hanging around your neck in front ofyour chest, and you and your purse topple backward against the tank ofthe toilet. You can't figure outhow to operate the faucets with the automatic sensors, so you wipe your hands with spit and a dry paper towel and walk past the line of women,still waiting.You are no longer able to smile politely to them.

A kind soul at the very end of the line points out a piece oftoilet paper trailing from your shoe. ( Where was that when you NEEDEDit??) You yank the paper from your shoe, plunk it in the woman's hand and tell her warmly, "Here, you just might need this."

As you exit, you spot your hubby, who has long since entered, usedand left the men's restroom. Annoyed, he asks, "What took you so long,and why is your purse hanging around your neck?". . .This is dedicated to women everywhere who deal with a publicrestroom (rest??? you've got to be kidding!!). It finally explains tothe men what really does take us so long. It also answers their othercommonly asked question about why women go to the restroom in pairs.It's so the other gal can hold the door, hang onto your purse and hand you Kleenex under the door

Busy and busy period

Well, sorry guys for the long long outdate blog...

Been very hectic and busy period of time. Especially at work. Have to work from early morning from as early as 8am till late 10-11pm :(

I have basically been assigned the normal test cases, loaded up extra with leading up integration test and also caught up with issues on some tracking system development. And also need to provide training slides and feature expertise materials.

All these takes up all of my time and I barely could be able to sleep well and sufficient. Thank God, with Him, I am growing STRONGER than EVER. With encouragement from friends and prayer do helps a lot.

Even yesterday (Saturday) I need to drop off to office to settle some issue over there. I keep telling myself that I should not go since normal days I have been dialing in even after office hours :(

Well, things could not take off my mind...next week even worse still...meetings, giving training, inspection, integration test....etc..Really need His will and strength to survive!

By the way for the past few weeks, I have been to Singapore for short holiday, KL for Asia Light International Festival(last week) and also of course still committed to God's word.

Will share more with photos to you once I am free up in next few weeks to come..

Mission Impossible Thursday

It was an usual day for me this week and I have been working and toiling till 7pm every night. Further after went back, still dialing in company network to communicate with developer.
Actually I am running test cases as well as writing test case..Even its a small and beginning for me.I learnt alot and understand the procedure better. There's even days when time ticks on 5pm, I only have started my usual work.

Come Thursday, thinking to give myself a break, I have asked my friends to play bowling with me after work. I am rushing that day where I completed my work at 7pm before proceed to have dinner first. We have a wonderful time of bowling.It was a slow start anyhow for me...too embarass to disclose my points.Haha..

After that, the other friend of mine,Leong called me up and asked me whether Im ON for MI-3.
I have been anticipating actually on Mi-3 since its release for the past few weeks. I ve been caught up with work and the last weekend I went back to hometown. Definitely I have missed out.Hehe.Without any further ado, I told him "Why Not??"

We went for the show at 9.10 pm at BJ. Elrick was with us for the movie too. At first, it was sleepy for me and Ive been telling myself whether I could take it after a whole day working.

After the first 30 minutes of the show, things gets more serious and adventurous.It was an action pack movie where Tom Cruise returns as Special Agent Ethan Hunt, who faces the mission of his life in saving Lingsey back to life as the initial mission. Then, there comes Rabbit Foot deal where he is trying to get it in order to save his wife, Julia.

I can say the movie is damn nice but with some flaws in the movie. Dont you know he even knows how to speak chinese..."zhou kai", "xie xie"
Haha...the slang is damn funny..anyone would laugh at his slang.

Those that havent watch, I advised its nice to watch in cinema than buying a dvd because of the
sound effect is really giving a big impact to the whole movie. Unless you choose DVD-9 Original DVD of this movie, you would not have the same "Uumph".

Looking back, I am thinking why I am so obsessed with movie where I still can watch movie till 11.30pm after a whole day of working.Haha.

Movie Buff

Yesterday I went for a movie with my friends in Gurney for Poseidon.
Actually it was a rush, I am having my usual cell group session in Sg Ara after work.We tried to take the best seat but it was only left with seats on first 3 rows. Well, without any further ado, we just take it on the 3rd rows.

The show is rgrding a luxury cruise ship in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean. And it was about New Year. When time ticks past the New Year,
things change, a rogue wave capsizes in a sudden. Even the captain was aware of it few minutes before this, they could not able to make a turn as its a high wave.

The synopsis are below:)
An individualistic, rule-breaking career gambler John Dylan (Josh Lucas), a desperate father (Kurt Russell) searching for his daughter (Emmy Rossum) and her fiance (Mike Vogel), a single mother (Jacinda Barrett) and her wise-beyond-his-years son (Jimmy Bennett), an anxious stowaway (Mia Maestro) and a despondent fellow passenger (Richard Dreyfuss) come together in the fateful turn of events. As the unstable vessel rapidly fills with water, each must draw on skills and strengths they didn't even know they possessed, fighting against time for their own survival and for each other.

The movie for my opinion is not bad. But its a one-night affair thing. And further the thing that does not make sense is in the end of the story when Kurt Russell is going to turn off the Port of the ship which is 150 feet without any help of any machine. Plus with those water which has already reach the ship almost all, could you imagine the pressure one has to overcome when dive into so deep. If that is the case he can make it, I guess I need to ask him to teach me how to DIVE without any oxygen tank...Haha..Just IMHO.:)

Overall I can give a rate of 7 out of 10...the point is quite interesting and action pack...
And when I reflect back, I can feel we human are just so small and when it comes to this disaster, we are nowhere to be compared to...Isnt God great?He created a universe which is in His control.

Definitely a worth movie to go to if you like action pack minus all those mission impossible actions:D

Tired week

Well, at this moment I have just fnished my work and just want to write something to relax...

The days were great and fast but it was full of obstacles to make and also sacrifices of time.
Deep in my heart, I felt satisfied but tired at the end. With Him, everything seems possible for me. And this past few days I ve been working till 10-11pm...somoetimes work from home.

Too many things to rush up and hope things will get better next week. ..Nites all.

Mad weekend

Okay...tmr is Thursday...another new day with new hope I suppose...well, time to go to bed..

I Not Stupid Too

Well, I have a great service and usher duty in EPCC tonight...It was a great night and the sermon by Pr. Sam touched my heart. More details can be found at www.lordisgood.blogspot.com.

After the service, I went out with my friends to watch I Not Stupid Too...its a nice nice movie.
I can said its recommended movie of the year and its better than first sequel in fact.

The story line touched my heart and almost make my cry...I meant it ...how vulnerable an action towards a youth/teenagers.It is such heart warming movie.And it is mix of sad+funny storyline.

At certain part of the two-hour-long movie, it is mixed with sad situation and in the next second,
it entertain us with laughters...a good director, Jack!Thumbs up to Jack Neo..

I am sure you wont regret it even though one is not Singaporean fan movie buff...:D

On the other hand, the casting and the ending is pretty good...one thing Im not satisfy with is the
quality /audio sound of the cinema.At certain period, the sound will goes loud and quiet.At one time of the movie, there is one-minute long of silence with only subtitled running on the movie alongside.What a disappointment to GSC in Gurney..

Mission to Cameron...Part (1)

Last month, I decided to sign up for Eco Challenge to Cameron. Basically it is a sort of mission trip to the Orang Asli in Cameron Highlands.

We started off our journey on Saturday morning at 5a.m. Before the day, we have CWMC(Condensed World Mission Course). I hanged out with some of the others in Subaidah till almost 1.30a.m. Wow...thinking back...I dont know how I am able to cope up with the sleep that time:P

God provides me and all of us involved...We have morning breakfast in Pelita and left Island at 6.30am.It was a cool and smooth ride down to Cameron.The sun is going to rise soon...:P

There it is sun rise from the West...of coz..:P That time we are crossing the border of Perak.

We stopped at the Junction to Simpang Pulai for nature call before proceed:P

We reached Cameron Highlands and checked in at HCC(one of the Christian Centre Hostel). After that, without much further ado, we proceed to Kampung Relong(photo) shown above.

It was a hot afternoon and some of us took a short nap at the hut above. And soon after that, we are going to have our lunch...actually that time was almost 3pm. And....my stomache...gurl gurl gurl...:P

More exciting part are going to be continued....Need to sleep now..tomorrow have a long long day:)

Spreading the joy of Christmas...

I have been busy for the few months back with my work, and I have no time to update my blog on the right time. So, some of these are previous post...:D

Right after the Christmas celebration, one fine day my friend called me up and asked me whether I am interested to help out in spreading the joy of Caroling in GMC (Gleanegles Medical Centre) in downtown. Since that day is quite tiring after whole day of work, I didn’t reject their invitation. Without any preparation or any rehearsal at all, I’m all out to give my very best of God’s given talent to people out there.

Even though it’s very tired after that and went to Beguadros till 1am, however deep in my heart I felt contented with life simplicity and bringing happiness to people in small little way. As sayings always goes, giving a little always goes to a long long way which we can ever expected..This is real true giving:D

Hiking at Youth Part-1st Edition

On January 14th, I have been invited to join one of my colleague, Foo to go for hiking. Thinking that it might be a great one before CNY comes, I would not resist to...:P

It was a sunny last Saturday and few days before we have a chat with friends and dawn upon the idea of going to hiking. The idea struck my mind and I am getting excited about it. On that very Saturday, my colleague, his friend and I went to Youth Park for the hiking. We have best of our time there and enjoy the atmosphere from the hill top. Some of the pictures taken in the hot sun are shown below. We reached there quite late and the sun came up. So we managed to climb up to Station 5. However, we were more than satisfied especially me after all it’s my first time ever since landed in the Pearl of the Orient.

Youth Park-2nd Edition

Last week is a busy week for me and it has been hectic one as well. Afternoon shift from Tuesday to Thursday and reach home at 12am. Besides, faced alot of obstacles in running test cases and confirm found bugs. However, I am able to overcome all these obstacles by the end of the week. Come Friday, I requested for a morning shift and its been great for me so that I can attend cell group at night. I have been miss the CG last week for the steamboat that I have in my mentor's house.

Weekend has been quite quiet and boring for me apart from hiking in the morning. I went up to Youth Park again this morning with Foo, his friend and William. Four of us hiked up the hill from 8.45 am ...we reached up the previous stop around 9am. We rested and talked alot of things. It was a relaxing one and I enjoyed it very much.

After rested and it is around 9.30am we decided to continue hike up further. Initially, it feels impossible for us because there are alot of stairs to hike up... my knees are so painful..
But we persevere and feel that since still early we can make it. Worst to worst, we still can stop a while to rest in between. Miraclely, we reached at the Stop 5 known as "Moon Gate 5". On the way we were to reach, the wind and the breeze is so cool...temperature drops and the walk become so cold suddenly.

I feel my mind were so refreshed at that time and after the stair challenge, we have a good stroll on flat land. It is so good feeling and breath for us. We feel we are at top of the world...the air is simple breathtaking. It feels like in Genting Highlands and even better, the wind came blew upon us occasionaly..it was simply amazing and refreshing. I wish that I have a house built at this top of the house...I dont even need a fan or air-con...further I can have a healthy life at the top.

It is so great and there's 2 hours trip further up to reach Penang Hill...but the time does not permit us. Further, we were so lazily sat around because of the wind and scenic view from top.
But we are going to conquer it one day...:D

After that we went down and the journey down seems like 10-minutes thing. It is so fast and we dont expect to reach down so fast:D

Then we headed to Tanjung Bungah Famous Duck Rice .It is just beside AM Bank and it is a corner lot. Even its quite $$ for one plate of duck rice which cost rM3.50 but its worth it.
I bet I will go there again the next time:) While we are on our way back to our house, traffic jam can be seen in major roads at Chinese Primary High School, Tangung Bungah ,
Jln Masjid Negeri, Green Lane....until I almost dozz off.

All in all, it was a tiring journey but I enjoyed the company with friends and the journey that I stamped. Most importantly it is the race that I go through...it was a memorable one which I wont forget in my life:D

Vietnamese Encounter...

As promised, the following night I went to meet up with some Vietnamese leaders and with some church members like Uncle Daniel and Sis Lilian.We have our makan-makan time and fellowship with them in Sis Lilian house back in U-Heights.

It was a wonderful and fruitful night. We exchange different traditional games between Vietnam and Malaysia. I learned 3 words fromt here....

i) Por Koan(catching the rabbit by the ear)
ii) Aan Kor(feeding the rabbit with weed...weed in Vietnam is "Aan")
iii) Bu Vous(put back the rabbit in the cage)

And guess what....

it turns out to be

i) Ba Kua..Ba Kut Teh...

ii) Lo Han Guo....

iii) Bor Yong...(Hokkien means Useless)

The iii) one makes me laugh till the Viets feel it funny too!!!

Actually the mechanism is while one person show the action and say it out. Then everyone should listen only and perform the correct action.The person might show action and say it out wrongly. So basically to catch those "followers"...

And when Uncle Daniel says out...Bor Yong and everyone laugh until we dont know what action we should perform...Hahaha..

Then our turn to teach them is the old Lat Lai La Li Tam Pong...there are alot version like Lat Li Li Tam Poi...and the list goes on but they are the same game ;)

We previously have a good dinner too...specially cooked by Sis Lilian...Pai Kut Ong, Salad Prawn, Potato Chicken and some Vegies...home cooked are really different..cannot be denied :D

We end up our fellowship with one another at around 9 sth because some of the Viets are working the next day at 6am. So we left earlier for good with great satisfaction and have wonderful life. We almost forgot to eat the dessert prepared for us until we were at the lift. Luckily Uncle Daniel and me suddenly remembered...haha...all in all, it was a great time having with them.

From this encounter, I can tell not all Vietnamese are labelled as bad immigrants....hope I can continually serve and do in His will to touch people hearts and lives through His word.

Lesson of the Day:-God really PROVIDES for us.
